Junior Support Technician

The role covers: * Bookkeeping - maintaining accurate financial records using Xero and other accounting software * VAT preparation - preparing VAT returns and ensuring HMRC compliance * Document management - organising client documentation efficiently using Dext * Supporting senior team members with client queries and ad-hoc tasks * Working with great clients across construction, beauty, finance, and tech sectors

Do you have experience in Xero?, If you're AAT Level 2 qualified (or have 2+ years practice experience) and want to work somewhere that actually invests in your career progression, we'd love to hear from you., You'll need: * AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) OR 2+ years accountancy practice experience * Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT * Comfortable using accounting software (Xero experience is a bonus) * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Excellent communication skills - you'll be liaising with clients and the team * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to have: * Experience with Xero and Dext * Knowledge of payroll processing and CIS * Understanding of different business structures

£20,750 - £24,250 per year (depending on experience)
