Software Tester

• The role will undertake the testing processes for software and product changes across the business
• The software tester will have responsibility for the analysis and creation of test plans and test data, as well as recording test results and helping to maintain test records.
• Using structured testing techniques, the software tester will design test conditions and carrying out reviews on test requirements.
• Running and maintaining automation test scripts
• Documenting testing processes for various systems
• The role will require liaison with teams across the business and with external software partners to ensure that testing processes are delivered to a high standard.

Do you have experience in Operating systems?, * ISTQB or similar qualification in testing

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an existing testing role
• Experience of using automation tools and maintaining scripts in code repository
• A good working knowledge of PCs, associated operating systems and devices as well as the Microsoft Office toolset
• Good written and verbal communication skills and be able to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage time and workload
• Ability to adapt depending on circumstance and customers

Desirable

• Previous experience working in an insurance company and understanding of insurance processes
• Experience using some of the following technologies; Polaris Product Writer, Playwright, Github, JIRA and Zephyr, Soap or Postman, * Do you have a good working knowledge of PCs, associated operating systems and devices as well as the Microsoft Office toolset?
