Job description
Our client, an international group in the healthcare / clinic environment, is looking for an experienced Head of IT / Interim CIO to lead a comprehensive strategic review of the IT landscape across a holding and franchising structure (924654JP). In this senior mandate, you will assess the current IT setup, define a future-proof IT strategy, and provide clear strategic recommendations to the Board and C-level stakeholders.
Main Tasks:
- Lead a full IT strategic review (applications, infrastructure, organisation, governance, vendors, costs, security) across multiple entities
- Analyse the current IT operating model within a holding system, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities
- Develop a target IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business growth, digitalisation and clinical operations
- Act as senior sparring partner to CFO and Board, preparing and presenting high-quality strategic documents
- Ensure appropriate consideration of cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory requirements (especially in healthcare/clinical context)
Requirements
Do you have experience in Management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Minimum 5 years' experience as Head of IT, (Interim) CIO or IT Director
- Proven track record of conducting at least two IT strategic reviews (group, multi-site or international environment)
- Strong background in IT strategy, IT operating model design, IT governance and digital transformation
- Demonstrated experience working at C-level, including Board and Executive Committee stakeholder management
- Nice to Have: Experience in multi-site clinical operations, medical practice chains or healthcare services
- Nice to Have: Experience with cybersecurity strategy or information security management
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Administration or equivalent
- Further education in IT Management, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture or MBA is a plus
Language:
- English: fluent or native (mandatory)
- German on level C1 is highly preferred
