Frontend Software Engineer - Accommodation (Hybrid)

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Frontend Senior Software Engineer in the Accommodation Team you will be in charge of:

• Work with a top-notch tech stack such as ES6, JavaScript libraries like ReactJS and Lodash, GraphQL, testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Sinon.js, Jest), React Testing Library (Selenium + Cucumber + Node.js), style sheet preprocessors (SASS, CSS-in-JS, styled-components), and packaging tools (Webpack, Babel, Grunt, npm).
• Work with a distributed, scalable micro-services environment, where software is deployed daily, with high quality, clean code, SOLID principles and TDD.
• Be part of a high performing cross-functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists, and more, all focused on the customer.
• Develop powerful and advanced algorithms at the forefront of innovation in travel tech.
• Uphold technical excellence through good design, attention to detail and test quality, and challenge decisions to improve the team's output.
• Actively participate in product definition and ideation processes.
• Work in a fully agile organisation using Kanban to deliver business value continuously.
• Continuously learn and participate in workshops, hackathons and other events to stay active within the IT community.
• Own and monitor the performance of product and technical OKRs.

• You have meaningful experience in a senior engineer role driving technical work for other engineers and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
• Provide technical guidance for complex initiatives and deliver strategic technical improvements.
• Improve code structure and architecture with attention to testability and maintainability, identifying opportunities for technical investments.
• Successfully deliver projects with high complexity involving multiple stakeholders, including monitoring and mitigating timeline risks.
• Mentor other team members, participate in code reviews and architecture reviews, and help others grow.
• Communicate complex ideas to technical and business stakeholders to achieve alignment.
• Continually expand skills and knowledge; be a team player who enjoys collaboration.

• Fluent English to work in a multicultural environment with teams from over 60 nationalities., * Experience with Applied AI Tools: practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: curiosity and eagerness to explore and integrate AI-driven solutions.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: ability to leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development, and enhance productivity.
