Ecommerce Lead Developer

You'll lead the design and development of a high-traffic e-commerce platform, working closely with product, UX, and commercial stakeholders while remaining technically hands-on.

Essential:

Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET

Solid experience with React on the front end

Proven background delivering e-commerce or high-transaction platforms

Hands-on experience working in Microsoft Azure

Experience in a senior or lead developer capacity

Confident owning technical decisions and guiding teams

Desirable:

Experience with microservices or cloud-native architectures

Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices

Knowledge of platform security, scalability, and performance optimisation

Previous experience mentoring or line-managing developers

The development function currently consists of an 11-person engineering team, and they are now looking to appoint an E-commerce Lead Developer to provide clear technical leadership, direction, and ownership.
