Job description

As Agincare's data and integration specialist, you'll be at the heart of our digital transformation. You'll design and deploy integration solutions, build robust data pipelines, and support the development of Power BI reporting that helps our teams make smarter, faster decisions.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, influence technical direction, and help create a future-proof architecture that supports our ambition. And as the role grows, there's potential to lead a small team - giving you the chance to shape not just our systems, but our capability.

What You'll Be Doing

Integration Solutions Design and implement robust integration solutions (APIs, ETL, microservices, ESBs), developing reusable patterns and frameworks to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across enterprise systems.

Middleware & Platforms Select, configure, and manage middleware/iPaaS platforms, optimising performance, availability, and security with strong monitoring and error-handling practices.

Data Architecture & Governance Define data architectures, schemas, and ETL pipelines, embedding governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management to support both operational and analytical needs.

Power BI & Analytics Collaborate with business teams to deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports, designing optimised datasets that enable accurate, timely, data-driven decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Standards Work with internal teams and vendors to align integration strategy with business goals, clearly communicating technical solutions. Produce robust documentation and establish best-practice standards for integration and data management.

Future Leadership Mentor junior colleagues, with scope to line manage and grow a small team as the function develops.

  • Hands-on expertise with middleware or iPaaS platforms.
  • Strong programming skills (Java, C#, Python or similar), with solid understanding of JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
  • Experience architecting and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse/schema design.
  • Skilled in Power BI (dataset design, modelling, report/dashboard delivery).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and performance tuning.

About the company

We're a family run business that's been caring and supporting people since 1986. With over 4,500 team members, we're one of the UK's largest care providers and are continuing to grow. We have over 100 locations across England including care& nursing homes, home care branches, extra care schemes, supported living properties and live-in offices., As a growing company with over 3500 staff, we are always looking for people who are passionate about caring for others in order to make a positive difference to their lives., Home care is the first step on the care ladder for people who need some assistance to manage their day and still retain their independence. It can be as simple as helping someone get up and about in the morning, or to help them take their medication regularly, feed their pets or keep them mobile around their home. Sometimes home care is high-dependency and 24-hour home care is needed. We are guided by what our customers need, and matching care and care-worker is of paramount importance. Clients often need social support, more than personal care. Home visits can simply be about taking time to chat, popping to the shops or having a cup of tea together. Ultimately our care assistants need to act with care, kindness and dignity, building relationships with their customers and helping them enjoy their lives. Becoming a home care assistant is a great contribution to your community, looking after the needs of people who most likely have lived in your area for a long time. Care and Nursing homes In every Agincare care home we strive to provide a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for all; communities that offer activity, independence and, most importantly, the choice to live their lives the way they want to. Central to everything we do is to treat people as individuals, which we call person-centred care. The role of a care assistant is to provide practical support and care to residents including personal, social and therapeutic care whilst adhering to their person-centred care plan and working within the confines of the residential home's policies and procedures. Also, to participate in plans to promote an environment contributing to a high standard of care according to the residents' needs and wishes. While each of our residential homes has its own style and facilities, each one offers its residents comfort, security and the support they need. Live-in care Live-in care is for elderly people and younger adults who wish to still enjoy an independent life in the safety and comfort of their own home. Live-in care assistants give the client control over their care, helping to enable day-to-day living from simple chores, moving around, shopping and providing meals to companionship and other domestic tasks. Live-in care assistants can also offer 1-2-1 care and support for more complex health issues such as: * Dementia care * Palliative care * Multiple sclerosis (MS) * Parkinsons disease
