As the Network Partner Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with our international network partners, including banks and insurance companies across all regions (APAC, EMEA, and the Americas). You will play a pivotal role in shaping our global partner ecosystem, ensuring that Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' International Surety operations rely on highquality, reliable, and scalable partner capabilities.quality, reliable, and scalable partner capabilities.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing and strengthening global partner relationships, acting as the primary senior point of contact for banks and insurance companies, ensuring reliable capacity, seamless service, and long term collaboration.term collaboration.
- Expanding the international partner network by identifying new opportunities, assessing potential providers, supporting due diligence processes, and onboarding new partners to enhance our global capabilities.diligence processes, and onboarding new partners to enhance our global capabilities.
- Streamlining and standardizing processes with partners, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with Swiss Re's International Surety standards, risk framework, and regional regulatory environments.
- Ensuring effective coordination with partners, timely execution of international surety transactions, and high service delivery standards.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across regions, including Surety Underwriting, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, to ensure alignment and ongoing performance monitoring of partners.
- Leading performance reviews of existing network partners, including service quality assessments, KPI monitoring, issue resolution, and implementation of improvement measures.
- Providing expert advisory to internal teams, clients, brokers, and partners on international surety processes, regulatory considerations, and best practices.
About the Team
International Surety Desk is an emerging team, closely collaborating with the global Surety business teams. With passion, as well as our service and customer orientation, we strive for high customer satisfaction and help the business to achieve its profitable growth aspiration. Our team is spread across many locations in Europe, Asia Pacific, as well as North and Latin America.
As part of the International Surety transformation project, we are implementing a new International Surety Model with new roles and responsibilities, standardizing and improving processes. We are also extending our international surety partner network.

Essential Skills

Education: Completed commercial education, preferably banking specialist, or bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or law; or equivalent job experience.

Professional Experience:

+10 years of experience working with financial institutions, preferably in surety, trade finance, credit insurance, or international banking.

Proven experience managing institutional relationships or partnerships.

Solid understanding of crossborder guarantees, surety operations, or related risk transfer processes.border guarantees, surety operations, or related risktransfer processes.
Leadership: Experience leading teams or overseeing operational functions is a strong advantage.
Linguistics: Proficiency in the English language is a must. Knowledge of German is a key differentiator. Additional languages of relevant markets (especially Spanish and French) are a plus.
Ability to make market presentations and good power point skills.
Nice to Have
- +10 years of experience in banking, insurance, or trade finance, ideally in a partner management, correspondence banking, or surety related role.related role.
- Experience negotiating or reviewing fronting agreements or collaboration frameworks.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as URDG758, ICISA forms, and other international rules.
- Understanding of AML, sanctions, and compliance processes.

Benefits & conditions
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 45,000 and EUR 75,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In situations where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
