We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise experience with panel data to revolutionize the way we measure consumer behavior both online and in-store., Ideally you possess a good understanding of consumer behavior, panel-based projections, and consumer metrics and analytics. You have successfully applied your statistical and data analytical skills to real-world scenarios, demonstrating your ability to handle complex data sets and generate actionable insights. Experience with (un)managed crowdsourced panels and receipt capture methodologies is an advantage., Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, statistics, socio-economics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Statistical Expertise: Statistical and logical skills, with experience in data cleaning, outlier validation, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, and data aggregation techniques.
- Consumer Insights: Knowledge of consumer behavior and (un)managed consumer-related crowdsourced panels.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets.
- Programming Proficiency: Experience with Python or another high-level programming language (R), with a willingness to learn Python.
- Database Handling: Skilled in SQL and working with queries and large-scale databases.
- Continuous Learning: Eagerness to adopt evolving technologies and tools.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Cloud Computing and Big Data Platforms: Familiarity with technology stacks for cloud computing (Azure, Linux, Databricks).
- Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems such as github and bitbucket.
- Prototyping: Interest in production-level solution prototyping.
- Production Support: Experience or interest in supporting technology teams in production deployment.
