The University of West of Scotland is recruiting for an ITrent Implementation Lead to join our People and Well Being team on a 12 month fixed term basis. The successful applicant will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the iTrent HR System Optimisation project, which aims to streamline HR, Payroll, Recruitment, and People processes across UWS. Leading the project the post holder will be coordinating day-to-day optimisation activities across key stakeholder groups including HR, Payroll, IT, Recruitment, and wider University functions.-to-day They will ensure that project milestones are achieved on schedule through effective coordination of process mapping activity, system configuration changes, workflow redesign, testing cycles, and user readiness planning. The successful candidate should have the following:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of continuous professional development in HR systems, digital transformation, or process improvement.
- Working with iTrent (configuration, optimisation, implementation, or system administration)
- Proven track record of leading HRIS or digital optimisation projects.
- Process mapping, workflow redesign, and implementing improved ways of working
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder engagement across HR, Payroll, IT, and operational teams
- Experience in testing cycles (UAT, regression, release testing) and documenting system changes
