Job description
We're hiring an eCommerce Executive/Manager (DOE) to own and trade Van Demon, our van conversion and accessories website.
Reporting to the eCommerce Director, you'll take full responsibility for the commercial performance, optimisation and day-to-day trading of the site, while helping shape the long-term strategy. You'll work closely with the marketing manager to build a true community around the site, and work closely with buying to help identify gaps and opportunities in the range.
This role is ideal for someone who loves being close to the numbers, close to the customer, and close to the product - and who gets a buzz from making a website perform better every week.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You'll run and be able to grow the Van Demon site. That means:
- Owning site performance across conversion rate, AOV, revenue and customer experience
- Leading day-to-day online trading, including promotions, merchandising, landing pages and content execution
- Ensuring the site always reflects the right products, stories and offers for our van-focused audience
- Using data and insight to continuously improve how customers browse, buy and convert
- Working closely with marketing, buying and operations to deliver a joined-up D2C experience
You'll be hands-on where needed, but always thinking commercially and about the site's evolution.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Marketing?, * Experience in a D2C or retail e-commerce trading role (suitable for executive or manager role level depending on the experience and skills)
- Proven experience of impacting website performance, not just supporting it
- Strong commercial instincts and confidence working with data and analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, tech and ops teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment where priorities move quickly
Essential
We want someone who is genuinely passionate about vans, conversions, accessories or the van-life lifestyle. You don't need to live full-time in a camper - but you should instinctively understand the customer, their needs and why this product category matters to them.
Nice to haves
- Shopify experience
- Google Analytics & CRO exposure
- CRM / lifecycle marketing experience
Benefits & conditions
- Take real ownership of a fast-growing van-focused website
- Influence both commercial performance and customer experience
- Help shape how a multi-brand e-commerce group evolves over the next few years
- Work with products and customers you can actually get excited about
