Job description
We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a major, mission-critical programme. You'll work across customers, suppliers and internal teams to define, model and deliver complex system-of-systems solutions, with a strong focus on MBSE and requirements engineering., * Lead key engineering tasks and help shape the full systems lifecycle.
- Work with stakeholders to define and allocate system-level requirements.
- Develop models, scenarios and behavioural diagrams using MBSE tools.
- Capture and manage requirements in DOORS.
- Oversee lower-level designs and produce engineering artefacts (designs, FMEA, compliance reports, capacity analysis, onboarding designs).
- Support architectural definition and trade studies.
- Contribute to milestone reviews and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modelling tools (Sparx EA, Cameo/MagicDraw).
- Skilled in frameworks/languages such as TOGAF, MODAF, NAF, SysML or ArchiMate.
- Background in complex integration programmes.
- Experience modelling behaviour, interfaces and functional requirements.
- Solid understanding of virtualised systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Confident communicator able to work across multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
- ITIL knowledge.
- Experience in safety-related or regulated environments (e.g., Air Traffic Management).
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
