Job description

We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a major, mission-critical programme. You'll work across customers, suppliers and internal teams to define, model and deliver complex system-of-systems solutions, with a strong focus on MBSE and requirements engineering., * Lead key engineering tasks and help shape the full systems lifecycle.

  • Work with stakeholders to define and allocate system-level requirements.
  • Develop models, scenarios and behavioural diagrams using MBSE tools.
  • Capture and manage requirements in DOORS.
  • Oversee lower-level designs and produce engineering artefacts (designs, FMEA, compliance reports, capacity analysis, onboarding designs).
  • Support architectural definition and trade studies.
  • Contribute to milestone reviews and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with modelling tools (Sparx EA, Cameo/MagicDraw).
  • Skilled in frameworks/languages such as TOGAF, MODAF, NAF, SysML or ArchiMate.
  • Background in complex integration programmes.
  • Experience modelling behaviour, interfaces and functional requirements.
  • Solid understanding of virtualised systems and service-oriented architectures.
  • Confident communicator able to work across multiple stakeholders.

Desirable

  • ITIL knowledge.
  • Experience in safety-related or regulated environments (e.g., Air Traffic Management).
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills.
