Job description
We are seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Organisational Effectiveness capability within Programme Advisory (OTM). You will lead and co-lead delivery workstreams on complex transformation programmes, integrating operating model and organisation design with people-centred change to achieve measurable outcomes. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams, shape delivery plans, guide Senior/Consultant colleagues, and build strong client relationships at senior levels., * Design and deliver organisational effectiveness and operating model interventions within major programmes, aligning strategy to structure, ways of working and outcomes.
- Lead or co-lead workstreams/HIT teams; plan facilitation; prepare and quality-assure core artefacts (narrative, documentation packs, workshop outputs, implementation tools).
- Diagnose current state using OD and cultural diagnostic methods; assess change impact and readiness; shape transition plans, L&D analysis, engagement and communications.
- Coordinate programme delivery logistics: calendars, governance rhythms, collaboration platforms, and project management tools ensuring data accuracy and document control.
- Contribute to proposals, business cases and thought leadership; connect client needs to OTM case history and best practice; support masterclass delivery and accreditation activities.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; provide clear, evidence-based recommendations and manage risks and issues proactively.
- Lead knowledge transfer and close-out (BAU handover, case studies, lessons learned) and feed improvements back into our methods and toolkits.
- Coach and mentor junior team members; contribute to internal capability building, continuous improvement and practice development.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Significant experience in organisation design/operating model and organisational change within complex programmes (consulting or in-house consulting).
- Proficiency with OD/people change disciplines: cultural diagnostics, change impact/readiness, transition planning, L&D, engagement and communications.
- Ability to analyse external drivers and client operating environments to tailor practical solutions and recommendations.
- Strong facilitation, senior stakeholder management and written communication skills; comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Evidence of contributing to bids/proposals and developing business cases alongside senior colleagues.
- Sector exposure across one or more of: infrastructure, transportation, utilities, commercial, government, natural resources, real estate.
- Strong MS Office and collaboration tools (Teams, Mural, Miro). Willingness to travel (UK and international) as required.
