We work with some of the UK's biggest companies and government departments to provide a pragmatic approach to technology, delivering bespoke software solutions and expert advice.
To enhance business development activities for Scott Logic.
This role reports to the Business Development Team Director
As a Business Development Team Leader, you will be coaching and mentoring a new team responsible for supporting and growing our commercial function. You will manage a team who are responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities targeting Large Enterprise and Public Sector C-level stakeholders. You will be managing and coaching your team to undertake lead generation, client research, and supporting marketing campaigns.
In this role you will be responsible for data quality within the CRM systems and reporting on the activities of your team by way of maintaining up-to-date records. Weekly and monthly reporting will be part of data management and sharing insights with the commercial teams.
- Managing a team of trainee business development executives
- Adding and updating contacts in Salesforce/ Sales Navigator
- Maintaining a presence on LinkedIn
- Supporting heads of public and private sector
- Weekly reports on success of the team
- Agreeing targets with heads of public and private sector
Requirements
Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
Self-Motivation: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Teamwork: Enjoys working in a team environment and works in collaboration within the team and wider organisation.
