Job description

Join our dynamic and collaborative IT team at E.ON! As Application Engineer for groupwide data protection management systems, you will be working closely with your team colleagues and E.ON's data protection teams to operate a group wide standard application.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

  • Build bridges between business requirements and technical implementation by developing a strong technical understanding.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps culture, with hands-on experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • Adapt and configure standard software solutions to meet specific use cases.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform testing to ensure stable IT operations while continuously driving improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, particularly regarding security and architecture (e.g., SSO, SaaS security, regulatory requirements).
  • Support the ongoing technical enhancement of the platform by analyzing user feedback, monitoring market and technology trends, and proactively recommending improvements.
  • Maintain internal documentation of processes, changes, and technical specifications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scrum?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, or an equivalent qualification

  • Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Engineer, including expertise in SaaS enhancement and administration within an enterprise environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of digitalization, data, and IT architecture, paired with an innovative mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Fluency in German and English, enabling smooth cooperation in international teams
  • Independent, structured working style with a proactive attitude toward digital transformation
