Job description
We are looking for a skilled and eager Embedded (Firmware) Engineer to join our versatile and cross-cultural Scrum team. You will be co-responsible for the development and maintenance of a wide range of solutions-from embedded firmware for Lumosa's EV chargers and LED lighting to internal tooling that powers our organization and manufacturing operations.
As a Embedded (Firmware) Engineer, you will play a key role in firmware architecture, code quality, and technical decision-making. Your experience will be essential in reviewing designs and code and ensuring robust and scalable embedded solutions from development through production.
Lumosa has grown significantly in recent years. The development of our products is a team effort, and we are committed to continuous improvement. We are looking for engineers to help implement and maintain structure as we move toward more agile and professional ways of working.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unit testing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a firmware or embedded software engineer
- Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ for embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers or SoCs
- Solid understanding of embedded hardware concepts
- Experience working with communication interfaces and protocols
- Familiar with debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Experience with version control (Git) and preferably CI/CD for embedded software
- Experience with unit testing or integration testing in an embedded context
- Ambitious to implement, follow, and improve Scrum or Agile ways of working; prior experience is a plus!
