Job description

You will define and deliver a five-year IT and Digital roadmap aligned to ambitious commercial expansion, while establishing formal Executive and Board-level technology representation., Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and deliver a five-year technology and digital strategy.
  • Introduce structured Executive-level governance around IT and data.
  • Provide independent assessment of scalability, capability and future readiness.
  • Ensure technology directly supports commercial growth and operational efficiency.

Technology & Systems

  • Review and evolve enterprise architecture and workforce management platforms.
  • Modernise core systems to support geographic expansion and increased project complexity.
  • Strengthen integration, resilience and governance frameworks.

Data & Digital Enablement

  • Build a more robust data capability to drive operational and commercial insight.
  • Introduce automation, AI and emerging technologies where they add measurable value.
  • Enhance cyber security and risk management across a distributed workforce.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead a 70-person IT function spanning Service Desk, Cyber and Regional IT.
  • Maintain high service performance while delivering structured transformation.
  • Embed delivery discipline, accountability and performance metrics.

Executive Influence

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive team.
  • Balance governance and structure with a values-led, family-oriented culture.
  • Help professionalise the organisation without diluting its identity.

Requirements

  • Senior technology leadership experience within a scaled, operationally complex organisation.
  • Board or Executive-level exposure, or clear readiness to step into that environment.
  • Experience leading structured technology evolution within a growth business.
  • Background in larger, well-governed environments that supports board-level credibility.
  • Strong commercial awareness and growth mindset.
  • Practical understanding of digital transformation, automation, data and AI.
