Software Engineer - Engineering & Simulation Platform (Oxfordshire)A growing technology business is developing a new internal software platform used by their engineering teams to design, simulate and optimise complex industrial systems. They are now looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale this platform, working closely with mechanical and aerothermal specialists.The Role You'll be part of a small, fast-moving team responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining software modules in C++/C# and Python
- Integrating internal tools and commercial simulation packages
- Automating engineering workflows and supporting cloud-based computation
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to solve technical challenges
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, science, or computer science (2:1 or above)
- Strong experience with C++ or C#, plus Python
- Good understanding of software design principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage your own workload and deliver projects independently
