Requirements
Do you have experience in SAFe?, To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in:
- Designing scalable, resilient solution architectures that align with enterprise strategies and business outcomes.
- Working across legacy and modern environments, including at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Deploying modern architecture patterns including microservices, APIs, events, sagas, containerisation, and serverless.
- Experience within at least one core Financial Services domain: Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management.
- Translating business requirements into clear, implementable technical designs through personal leadership and working closely with engineering teams.
- Building trusted relationships with senior leadership and influencing key decisions.
- Operating within agile delivery models and modern delivery practices (e.g. SAFe and DevOps).
- Applying recognised architecture frameworks, methods, or techniques (e.g. TOGAF, Domain-Driven Design, or NIST) in a pragmatic way.
While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is beneficial:
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience in complex environments.
- Supporting pre-sales, proposals, or bid activities alongside senior leaders.
- Designing greenfield or cloud-first solutions within enterprise-scale organisations.
- Contributing to the development or maturation of architecture practices or communities.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI solutions.
- Certification in relevant frameworks, methodology, or technology (e.g. TOGAF, or AWS).
