Job description
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong Python Scripting experience to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and data models while leveraging Python for advanced analytics, automation, and data transformation.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable and high-performance BI solutions that drive data-informed decision-making., * Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Build efficient data models using DAX and Power Query (M language)
- Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.)
- Use Python Scripting for:
- Advanced data transformation and cleaning
- Statistical analysis and forecasting
- Automation of data workflows
- Integration with Power BI datasets
- Optimize report performance and data refresh strategies
- Implement row-level security and governance best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, data flows, and scripts
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with Power BI
- Strong experience with:
- DAX
- Power Query
- Data modelling concepts
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience integrating Python scripts within Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse)
