Payments Technology & Operations Manager - Fintech - Antwerp

• Lead end-to-end payment operations, ensuring operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and optimal transaction performance.
• Oversee the payment and IT ecosystem (onboarding, KYT, transaction screening), proactively mitigating risks and ensuring business continuity.
• Drive automation and workflow orchestration initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control across business processes.
• Transform operational data into actionable insights through advanced reporting and performance monitoring.
• Act as a key liaison between Business and IT, ensuring seamless system integration, continuous improvement, and successful technology implementations.
• Serve as the functional owner of the Core Banking System (CBS), defining best practices, overseeing configurations, and leading release and regression management for the SaaS platform.
• Strengthen financial control frameworks by resolving complex reconciliation issues and optimizing treasury-related processes.

• Strong background in payment operations with proven ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues
• Solid IT mindset with experience (or willingness to develop expertise) in workflow orchestration configuration and reporting environments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, financial operations, or relevant IT roles
• Good knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Hands-on experience with APIs and webhooks is a strong asset
• Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment with high adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical thinking and structured approach
• Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
