Job description
- Work collaboratively with our data sourcing and architecture teams to build a state-of-the-art data publishing infrastructure for existing and future products
- Build and maintain data pipelines that scale Statista's content management and production
- Develop reliable data orchestration workflow to ensure and support the automated publishing processes of Statista's content teams
- Proactively analyze established processes in our content and data teams to identify opportunities for optimization and automation
- Monitor and optimize data infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Stay up-to-date with important developments in AI & Automation to ensure constant revision and upgrades of our services and tools.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * You are comfortable in developing ETL processes and data automation processes using Python
- Proficiency in workflow orchestration, containerization and version control tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Docker or git)
- You have a good command of SQL for data manipulation and querying
- You have a good understanding of data modelling and architecture, with a strong interest in best practices.
- You have some experience in cloud services and infrastructure (e.g. AWS: ECS, EC2 & RDS); Infrastructure-as-Code is a plus
- You have excellent spoken and written English skills
