Your role:
As a Technical Architect you will be the architectural design authority across direct-to-customer financial wellbeing offerings including modernisation of the CRM, workflow systems and data platforms, building in scalability and operational excellence and integrating with partners, data / insight providers and agentic systems.
You will collaborate across the tech team / Agile squads to provide architecture and design decisions and guidance, help with solutions, process design and assisting the teams to solve the most complex problems and challenges., You'll be based in fantastic new offices in London that offer a wide range of facilities including wellness rooms and onsite gym for three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
Requirements
- You have experience of designing software / infrastructure architectures for large-scale platform modernisation and scaling
- You have experience of distributed systems design including migrating legacy enterprise systems to cloud native, microservices based architecture with dual-run and phased migration strategies
- You have experience of defining reference architectures for TypeScript microservices, React micro frontends and Mobile applications (React Native)
- You have experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and IaC strategy (CDK, Terraform)
- You have a good knowledge of Data Architecture including Lakehouse patterns, event driven data flows, analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Metabase)
- You have experience of designing platforms within regulated environments
- You're collaborative and pragmatic, comfortable working closely with the business and engineers to explain technical aspects and trade-offs to shape delivery plans that balance speed, quality and risk
