This isn't a role where you'll be hidden behind a desk. You'll be embedded in the heart of the business, providing practical support, delivering smart solutions, and collaborating not only with local teams but also with IT specialists across the wider group, sharing knowledge and aligning best practice.

  • Handling PC builds, resets, hardware fixes, and general maintenance
  • Supporting new starters - equipment setup, access, onboarding, and training
  • Upskilling teams in effective use of IT systems and tools (including SharePoint)
  • Ensuring cyber security software is monitored, maintained, and up to date
  • Delivering cyber awareness training to help strengthen the site's security culture
  • Maintaining clear IT documentation, records, and procedures
  • Working hand-in-hand with colleagues from all areas of the business to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

You'll thrive here if you enjoy a role that blends technical skill with people-focused support. You are:

  • Experienced in IT support or an IT Lead role
  • A confident troubleshooter who stays calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working in both industrial and office settings
  • Skilled with Microsoft systems, hardware, and collaboration tools like SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable in cyber security fundamentals and best practice
  • A clear communicator who adapts to users with varying levels of IT knowledge
  • Organised, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks independently

Benefits & conditions

  • £38,000 - £40,000 salary
  • Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-12.30pm
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + option to purchase 3 more days
