Functional Analyst (IT)

As a Functional Analyst, you will be at the epicenter of our projects, translating business needs into effective IT solutions. This role demands a blend of analytical thinking, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering solutions that redefine the digital landscape.

You will be part of the Digitized Operations Management team, which is responsible for the application that manages the operational processes in our warehouses (eOrder & Space Management). The team is a cross functional team (frontend, backend, QA, mobile, …) and oversees the analysis, development, deployment and maintenance of the application., * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Analyze and document current processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design and present functional specifications, acting as a liaison between business units and development teams.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from conception to implementation, ensuring seamless integration of IT solutions including technical configuration of middleware.
• Conduct thorough validation testing to guarantee the functionality and usability of developed systems.
• Provide user stories, acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA to create test cases.
• Clarify when needed with diagrams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role, minimal 1 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to self-sufficiently manage a complex IT solution.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent working knowledge of English.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of and experience with tools/systems/processes related to the role (Scrum, Azure DevOps, Use Cases, Requirement Gathering, UML, BMPN, …)
