In the first 6 months, you will
- You will own the full development lifecycle, from initial discovery and conceptualisation to building and iterating with customers. You will deliver critical new LCA (Lifecycle Assessment) and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) features that enable our clients to achieve high-quality, scaled climate-native product management.
- You will rapidly own your first development project and directly influence our product roadmap by synthesising engineering realities with customer needs, market demands, and our business goals.
- Rapidly grow into a specialised engineer, working closely with our LCA Experts, translating complex environmental methodologies into powerful, user-friendly product features., * Languages: Python, TypeScript
- Backend: FastAPI
- Frontend: React
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
- Infrastructure & DevOps: AWS (CDK), Azure (OpenTofu)
- CI/CD & Automation: GitHub Actions, Docker

Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * 3+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, with strong proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust)
- Experience: Successfully building and shipping production-grade features within an early-stage B2B software startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take a feature from initial discovery and conceptualization through development, deployment, and iterations with customers .
- Experienced and passionate about leveraging AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development and increase code quality.
- Business-Fluent English (written and verbal) for internal and external communication.
Nice to have's
- Beyond coding, you possess a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, including basics of user research, UI/UX principles, and product analytics.
- You approach unfamiliar domains with a structured, analytical mindset, and communicate complex technical ideas clearly and concisely.
- A diligent approach with a strong affinity for working with data and numbers, essential for the accuracy and robustness of our climate intelligence model.
- Experience in a related field such as Climate/Data Analytics, Construction Tech, or Manufacturing is highly valued.
