Job description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to take end-to-end ownership of our global Azure platform, while actively enabling and supporting other teams in designing and implementing cloud solutions.
You operate in a global, enterprise-scale environment, ensuring Azure is not only technically robust, but also secure, governed, cost-efficient and automation-driven. You act as a trusted advisor for product, application and platform teams, helping them adopt Azure in a compliant and scalable way.
Key responsibilities

Own subscription strategy, networking, RBAC and management group design. Drive standardization and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM)
Cloud governance (ownership): Define and enforce governance frameworks, including policies, management groups, RBAC, naming standards, and tagging. Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness. Embed controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Cost management & FinOps: Lead Azure cost management practices, budgets, alerts, chargebacks, and optimization. Apply AI-driven cost analytics and anomaly detection.
Identity & application integration: Manage hybrid identity landscapes (Azure AD, Entra ID, ADFS, on-prem AD). Support secure access patterns and implement Zero Trust principles.
AI agents & cloud automation: Design and implement AI-driven agents and intelligent automation using Azure OpenAI, Functions, Logic Apps and event-driven architectures.
Team collaboration: Partner with product and DevOps teams, review architectures, and provide practical guidance on governance, security, and cost efficiency. Mentor teams across regions, drive alignment on platform standards, and act as a trusted advisor. Set yourself apart
