Job description
We are looking for a Business Central Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, support, and enhancement of our Microsoft Business Central environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of Microsoft Business Central applications and extensions using AL and Visual Studio code.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, ensuring scalability and adherence to "Cloud-First" best practices.
- Support internal systems by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Work with SQL databases, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Assist in integrating Business Central with third-party services and APIs.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of BC applications.
- Maintain documentation related to system modifications and updates.
- Comply with the Company's HR policies and the Health and Safety policy at all times.
- Work flexibly and efficiently in order to meet internal and external customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
- Bring new ideas and approaches with an open mind.
- Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.
- To understand, identify, receive, and report all adverse events, product quality complaints and other reportable patient safety events in compliance with pharmacovigilance regulatory and contractual requirements (Training provided)
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and data structure optimization within a SaaS environment.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Copilot extensions and AI-driven automation within BC.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
- Proficiency in AL language, Visual Studio Code, and the Business Central event-subscriber model.
- Solid understanding of JSON, XML, and API authentication
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- System Architecture & ALM: Mastery of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, branch management in Git, and managing the Application Lifecycle (ALM) to ensure zero-downtime deployments.
- Performance Tuning: Ability to use the Business Central Performance Toolkit and Telemetry (via Azure Application Insights) to identify and fix slow-running queries or code loops.
- API & Web Services: Proficiency in developing and consuming OData and REST APIs, with a solid grasp of OAuth2 authentication for secure external integrations.
