The Inspired Learning Group is currently seeking a highly motivated, organised and well qualified individual to join our newly formed IT Team as an IT field engineer.
As an IT Field Engineer you will engage mainly with Pre prep schools and nurseries. It will be expected for you to take ownership of the IT systems and network at sites, and pickup and resolve staff support requests as they are generated. You will be the main point of contact for the sites in regard to their IT systems and support needs (user support, network issues, server patching, telephony, application installs and offer support with external providers) based on agreed timeframes, priorities and SLA's. Especially for all IT issues and requests that require physical attendance and cannot be resolved remotely.

You will be the key point of contact responsible for the support and project delivery of IT to end users at several of our academic sites across the UK. There will be travel to other sites as required - It is essential you have a valid driving license.
This varied and exciting role is part of the ILG IT support team, as one of our IT field engineers you will support a varied range of projects including new site set ups, installations, moves and changes for hardware, software, networks, and telephony. The environment is largely Microsoft based, so you will support Office, Outlook, SharePoint and teams as well as several business applications and devices.
This role is hands on, taking part in the day to day queries and case handling across the expanding ILG Group. The role is ideal for a someone looking for progression. If you are flexible in your approach and willing to get stuck in and enjoy the experience of working in a fast-paced organisation, this could be the role for you.
Having prior experience in the education industry would be looked upon favourably but not essential as training will be provided when required. We would welcome interest from individuals with prior 1st or 2nd line IT support experience and those used to handling multiple projects concurrently.
