Network Technical Integration Lead

Job Title:Network Technical Integration Lead Location:Manchester/London/Northampton/Glasgow - 3 days per week in the office Salary/Rate: Up to £626 per day inside IR35 Start Date: 09/03/2026 Job Type: Contract until the end of the year

Role Purpose:

Lead engineering execution, quality and safe change into production; coach engineers; own NFRs and resilience patterns; make automation the default.

Responsibilities:

• E2E design ownership: non-functional requirements, integration contracts, resilience patterns and rollback plans.
• Build testable runbooks; define/exercise change rehearsal, smoke/soak tests and rollback.
• Engineering leadership: code reviews for infra-as-code and runbook automation; SRE practices (error budgets, toil reduction).
• Defect analytics: drive remediation sprints; continuously improve standard change models and automation coverage.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in networks/security with design/build/operate across at least one major stack
• Hands-on with automation (Ansible/Terraform, GitHub/Azure DevOps).
• ITIL change leadership and MIM experience; disciplined PIR culture.
• Strong troubleshooting across layers (network, identity, endpoint, Proxy, SIEM/SOAR).

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNP/CCIE, Zscaler Professional, Fortinet NSE 4+, Splunk Admin/ES, ITIL 4 MP (or equivalents).

KPIs:

• Change failure rate; MTTR; automated test coverage; % of changes moved to standard/automated category; reduction in repeat incidents
