Technical Data Analyst

We are looking for a solid Technical Data Analyst to act as the vital link between business stakeholders and Data Engineering teams. This isn't just a reporting and data analysis role; you will be getting deep into the technical weeds, performing complex data mapping, and writing high-quality SQL code to ensure strong data pipelines.

You'll be responsible for translating business needs into technical specifications and working closely with Data Engineering teams.

• Mapping: Translating complex business requirements into detailed technical data mappings.
• SQL Development: Writing and refining SQL code to extract, manipulate and analyse data.
• Stakeholder Management: Acting as the translator between non-technical business units and the technical Data Engineering squads.
• Agile Delivery: Working within an Agile framework to ensure iterative progress and high-quality outputs.
• Strong SQL Skills: You should be comfortable writing code from scratch (we will also consider SQL Developers looking to move into a more business-facing role).
• Mapping Expertise: Proven experience in data lineage and mapping technical specifications.
• Financial Services background is preferred
• Experience with Snowflake is a significant advantage
