Job description

We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support the delivery of fire and security installation projects.

You will be responsible for coordinating engineers, arranging installation dates, ordering equipment, managing documentation and acting as a key point of contact between customers, engineers and site managers.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong administration skills, excellent communication and a good understanding of fire and security systems., Project & Installation Support

  • Arrange all new system installations and system additions
  • Liaise with customers and site managers to confirm dates, access and site requirements
  • Collate and issue RAMS for site installations
  • Carry out signal tests with Southern Monitoring for system upgrades where required
  • Support engineers with job-related queries

Engineer & Diary Management

  • Manage engineers' diaries
  • Allocate engineers to installation jobs
  • Book follow-on visits
  • Coordinate commissioning and snagging visits

Stock & Materials

  • Order all stock and parts for installations and service calls
  • Ensure correct equipment is available in line with job requirements
  • Prepare job packs and documentation

Customer & Office Administration

  • Act as a main point of contact for customers during installations
  • Provide general office management and administration support
  • Maintain accurate records and job files
  • Support the wider projects and service teams

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email and face-to-face)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and job management systems)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control and CCTV systems
  • Experience working within a fire and security company or similar technical environment
  • Understanding of industry manufacturers., * Highly organised and methodical
