Job description
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to define KPIs and document user stories.
- Validate developments meet functional requirements during testing., At the heart of our data valorization strategy, we are looking for a Business Analyst Analytics - 80-100%. Your main mission will be to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications within a team of Data Engineers.
The tasks awaiting you:
- Work closely with business teams to identify, analyze, and formalize needs regarding KPIs and data analytics, then write precise and actionable user stories
- Actively contribute to the testing phase by validating that the developments meet functional requirements and business expectations
- Document semantic models and KPIs made available to the business
- Leverage expertise in the insurance sector to challenge business requests, propose relevant key indicators (KPIs), and ensure the added value of BI solutions
- Define acceptance criteria, test plans and scenarios, then coordinate UATs
- Use BA standards and tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Manage the complete lifecycle of requirements (traceability, updates, evolution)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in Business Intelligence/Analytics as a developer or analyst.
- Proficient in SQL for independent database exploration.
- Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholder collaboration., * At least 3 years of experience in the Business Intelligence / Analytics world as a developer or business analyst
- Initial experience as a Business Analyst demonstrating your ability to formalize complex needs into detailed documentation
- Knowledge of the insurance sector, especially Property & Casualty, would be a significant asset
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile environments, you know how to structure your deliverables to accelerate the work of data engineers
- You master SQL to explore databases independently and validate the relevance of produced indicators
- Ease in communication and collaboration with varied interlocutors, both technical and functional
- Initiative and autonomy to effectively manage priorities and propose innovative solutions
