Job description
This a newly created role and an exciting time at Fundpath. We're looking for a Fund Selector Analyst with approximately three years of experience to join our London-based team.
This is not a portfolio management or advisory role. Instead, you will leverage your fund research expertise to help us curate, analyse, and structure high-quality wealth manager fund data and insights for our asset management clients. Your work will directly contribute to the data sets, analytics, and tools that power our platform and client solutions.
What you will be taking responsibility for:
- Responsible for structured outreach with top tier wealth managers to gather targeted information and document specified financial and operational information
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on fund managers, and investment strategies to provide actionable insights to clients.
- Analyse and curate fund data across multiple asset classes to enhance the quality and depth of our Data platform.
- Work with our product and data teams to translate investment insights into usable datasets, analytics, and client-facing tools.
- Prepare research reports and extract data to market commentary and strategy.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and new fund launches to ensure our data offering remains current and comprehensive.
- Engage with external fund managers and internal stakeholders (product, sales, and client success) to support data accuracy and insight generation.
Requirements
- Around 3 years' experience in fund research, fund selection, investment analysis, or related roles within financial services.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, performance metrics, and investment strategies across asset classes.
- Proficiency with investment databases and analytical tools.
- Ability to translate complex investment data into clear, actionable insights for a technology platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English.
- A keen interest in how technology and data are reshaping the investment industry
- Exceptional attention to detail.
