Job description

Are you passionate about IT and eager to grow your career within a thriving, high-performance environment? This is your chance to join a rapidly expanding organisation delivering world-class IT maintenance and lifecycle services to customers across the globe.

Our Maintenance Service Centre is a fast-paced, hands-on technical hub where we support a wide range of customer device builds throughout their lifecycle - helping organisations stay productive and future-focused. What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in preparing, repairing and configuring IT hardware, ensuring devices meet the highest standards before reaching customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, testing, cleaning and preparing a range of devices (laptops, desktops, screens, mobile and handheld devices).
  • Performing software configuration, updates, diagnostics and repairs.
  • Installing spare parts and completing warranty repairs to OEM and ASP standards.
  • Logging, managing and closing tickets within internal systems.
  • Staging and imaging devices using predefined software builds.
  • Supporting effective asset tracking and maintaining accurate device location records.
  • Identifying and escalating risks to customer SLAs.
  • Maintaining a tidy, efficient workspace in line with 6S principles.
  • Working flexibly across the Service Centre to prevent backlogs and maintain SLA targets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring technical capability, strong organisation, and a collaborative, proactive mindset. You should have:

  • Experience with laptop/desktop repair, software builds, diagnostics and hardware components.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Previous exposure to mobile or handheld device support.
  • Strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • Experience in a corporate IT or enterprise maintenance environment (desirable).
  • Manufacturer accreditations (HP, Dell, Apple, Lenovo etc.) or willingness to achieve them.
  • Ability to mentor and support team members.
  • A forward-thinking, solutions-focused approach and openness to change.
  • Active government SC clearance.
