Solution Consultant - Data Engineering

We are currently looking for a Solution Consultant - Data Engineering in Switzerland.In this role, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data engineering and connectivity solutions that bridge sensors, networks, and cloud platforms. • Design and engineer secure, scalable wired, wireless, and IIoT solutions spanning edge to cloud architectures
• Translate customer challenges and business requirements into robust technical solutions with measurable business impact
• Support sales and customer teams through technical consulting, solution presentations, and proof-of-concept development
• Leverage automation and design tools to accelerate solution development, improve quality, and increase win rates
• Deliver comprehensive solution architectures, including network topology, data flows, bills of materials, and service models
• Facilitate smooth handovers to delivery and execution teams while identifying improvement opportunities and emerging trends
• Build strong relationships with customers, integrators, and engineering partners to expand market influence

Requirements:5-7 years of experience designing or implementing enterprise-grade data engineering, networking, wireless, or IIoT solutionsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, communications, or a related technical fieldStrong expertise in wired and wireless networking, data platforms, visualization tools, and LAN/WAN architecturesProven consulting experience, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business valueExperience working cross-functionally with solution architects, product managers, sales, and marketing teamsSolid understanding of cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and industrial data systemsStrong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCertifications such as ISA or CSIA are a plusWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately 50 percentBenefits:Competitive salary package with performance-based incentivesFlexible hybrid and remote working
