Integrator - Software Developer Lifecycle

The Tribe DevEx & System Engineering is part of Engineering & Reliability, focusing on driving end-to-end system optimization, increasing engineering productivity and experience. Building on a one engineering system that serves as a Swiss Army knife for our thousands of engineers.

As of late we are also responsible for the delivery of AI for engineering. Leveraging copilot, agentic ai, workspaces and prompt libraries. To leverage the work of our 15000 engineers at ING.

Responsibilities

As an IT Integrator, you connect the dots across our engineering landscape. You design and coordinate integrations between our AI-for-engineering capabilities, CI/CD platform components, and adjacent ING tech ecosystems. You ensure that systems, workflows and interfaces fit together seamlessly - technically, securely, and operationally. You work closely with engineers, architects, SRE, product teams and external partners to shape integration requirements, define interface contracts, standardize patterns, and embed reliability-by-design. You play a pivotal role in enabling our "One Engineering System", ensuring new agentic AI components and CI/CD improvements land consistently, predictably, and safely across squads and countries.

You also guide and lead IT-level migration scenarios - from designing transition paths and cut-over strategies to coordinating testing, data flows, dependencies and rollback plans. You help teams adopt new capabilities with minimal disruption by providing clear integration playbooks, supporting implementation steps, and ensuring compliance with ING's engineering, security and risk standards. In everything you deliver, you aim for frictionless adoption, stable operations, and scalable, future-proof engineering environments.

ING Bank NL is looking for a reliable and skilled Integrator, with a passion for the engineering journey and AI., · Solid understanding of system integrations, API contracts, interface patterns, data flows and platform interoperability.

· Affinity with CI/CD concepts (pipelines, artifacts, approvals, automation patterns) and how platform services connect.

· Affinity with AI-for-engineering (AI-driven workflows, agentic automation, developer-assistance tooling).

· Experience designing or coordinating migration paths, cut-over plans, and phased delivery approaches.

· Comfortable working with engineers, architects and SRE to align on integration standards and technical decisions.

· Ability to translate complex IT landscapes into clear, structured integration steps and documentation.

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

· Proactive, structured, and able to bring clarity in complex and fast-evolving environments.

· Familiarity with Agile ways of working and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
