The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic, transformative member of Teradata's executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the company's global technology vision. This role ensures that enterprise technology, digital platforms, and data capabilities directly enable business strategy, operational excellence, and long-term growth. You will modernize core technology platforms, elevate cybersecurity and resilience, and enhance the digital employee experience across a complex global environment. Shape and execute an enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned to Teradata's business objectives and transformation priorities

Lead modernization across cloud, AI/ML, analytics, ERP/CRM, digital experience platforms, and emerging technologies

Drive operational excellence through reliable global service delivery, cost optimization, and strong technology governance

Partner with executive leadership to identify and deliver technology-enabled growth opportunities and efficiencies

Apply foundational AI skills to explore and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and impact across our workforce. Who you will work with: The CIO leads Teradata's global IT organization, spanning enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity partnerships, analytics platforms, and emerging technology capabilities. The team plays a critical role in enabling Teradata's AI-driven strategy, ensuring technology is secure, scalable, and tightly aligned to business needs. This role reports to the COO and works closely with the executive leadership team, including the COO, CFO, CISO, and Chief Data Officer, as well as business leaders across all regions. You will:

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to co-create digital and operational transformation programs

Partner closely with cybersecurity, data, and product leaders to enable secure, data-driven innovation

Requirements

Proven experience leading large-scale, global digital and technology transformation initiatives

Deep expertise across modern enterprise IT platforms, infrastructure, and operating models

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate enterprise strategy into executable technology roadmaps

Executive-level communication and influence skills, including board and C-suite engagement

Foundational AI skills and the ability to understand how AI can be applied to improve outcomes in your area of expertise. What you will bring:
