Job description
You will work within a complex naval and defence environment, helping to develop architectures, assess system behaviour, and influence how hybrid maritime solutions evolve over the coming years., * Develop and support system architectures across the Sense, Decide and Effect chain.
- Assess operational and environmental data to model system behaviour and evaluate performance.
- Work collaboratively with technical and operational specialists to advance Hybrid Naval concepts.
- Contribute to requirements engineering, system-level design and integration activities.
- Provide informed technical input to guide experimentation, capability evolution and decision-making.
Requirements
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Sense, Decide and Effect systems, covering the full chain from sensing and data assessment through to weapon system deployment. This role will be central to shaping and influencing emerging Hybrid Naval capability, bringing both domain experience and rigorous engineering or academic insight., * Strong background in defence or naval systems engineering.
- Experience with sensors, data assessment, combat systems or weapon system integration.
- Ability to translate operational needs into system designs and architectures.
- Engineering or academic background capable of influencing high-level concept development.
Desirable
- DV clearance preferred; SC considered
- Experience working with UK MOD, defence primes or complex system-of-systems environments.
