Data Engineer (Power BI, SQL & Analytics)

• Translate business requirements into robust, well-documented analytics solutions
• Design and deliver advanced Power BI dashboards, forecasting models, and deep-dive analysis
• Build and optimise scalable data models (DAX, performance tuning)
• Develop and maintain advanced SQL (MySQL) queries across large, complex datasets
• Support data migration and transformation initiatives
• Automate reporting workflows using Power Automate
• Track and analyse KPIs across sales, marketing, product, and customer performance
• Ensure strong data governance, validation, quality assurance, and access controls
• Lead data mapping, data definitions, and documentation processes

• Proven experience in Data Engineering/Data Analytics roles
• Strong background in Financial Services or Wealth Management (highly desirable)
• Advanced Power BI expertise (dashboards, reporting, KPIs)
• Advanced SQL capability (querying, optimisation, transformation)
• Strong data quality and validation experience
• Confident communicator, able to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
