Senior Internal IT Auditor - Remote opportunity - anywhere in the UK

One of our large commercial (multi-billion £ t/o; 10,000+ employees) clients is looking to further build their internal audit team. The next assignment we have is to find a Senior IT Auditor.

Whilst you will contracted out of their London HQ, you'll be based remotely, and this can be anywhere at all in the UK - your choice. based in London, UK.

Reporting to the Head of IT Audit and working as part of a core team of internal audit professionals, you will carry out reviews of IT risk alongside the financial auditors, as part of a team delivering the audit plan, with the sole purpose of building and growing a Group-wide culture which manages and mitigates risk. The IA function operates a flat 'pool' structure where you will lead and manage audits, and deliver on others.

Due to the level of stakeholder interaction, the Senior IT Auditor will be given huge exposure to a broad range of business units in the Group and therefore, the successful candidate should be targeting a 2-3 year plan to either be promoted in audit, into IT, or across into the wider business.

Do you have a valid CISSP certification?, We are looking for a degree educated computer sciences or IT audit/ IT assurance / IT risk / cyber security professional, with c, 3-6 year's experience, who is looking for their next challenge. A qualification such as a CISA/CISSP/ CIA etc. would be helpful too but is not essential.
