SAP S/4HANA MDG Developer

The SAP S/4HANA MDG Developer supports, enhances, and modernizes SAP-based logistics solutions ensuring operational continuity within railway maintenance workshops. The role contributes to a greenfield S/4HANA project with a strong focus on SAP MDG development, architecture, and best practices. The consultant acts as a technical-functional expert, bridging business and development teams across the full project lifecycle., The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Implement major changes and projects within current and future SAP MDG solution
• Advise the business on SAP MDG best practices and solution design
• Deliver conceptual proposals for system improvements and renewals
• Organize and lead Blueprint workshops
• Analyze and challenge change requests
• Draft detailed technical specifications
• Coordinate small-scale projects (planning and team follow-up)
• Act as primary contact for ABAP developers during enhancements
• Perform functional unit testing and debugging
• Prepare production transition and provide hypercare support
• Provide daily functional support and resolve user tickets
• Contribute to ECC cleanup and new S/4HANA solution development

Do you have experience in X-ray?, * Minimum 4 years of proven experience in SAP MDG development and architecture

• At least 3 full lifecycle SAP MDG implementations
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC
• Experience with ABAP (technical specs writing, development, debugging)
• Knowledge of BRF+ rules
• Experience with Floorplan Manager (FPM)
• Proven implementation of Mass Change in MDG S/4HANA
• Experience setting up at least one RACI model
• Knowledge of UI5
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week

• Experience with Data Replication Framework
• Knowledge of Consolidation in MDG
• ABAP OO expertise
• SAP MDG UX enhancements knowledge
• Workflow monitoring within MDG
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, X-Ray testing
• Knowledge of SAP integrations (EDI, ODATA, CIG, Ariba MM, VMI)
• Logistics domain knowledge
