Windows Engineer

Project : For an infrastructure project, we are seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer to support the engineering, operation, and further development of a Windows Server environment. An extension of another 10-12 months is expected.

Tasks :

• Engineering, operation and further development of Windows Server environments
• Ensuring stable, secure and automated operation of the Windows Server infrastructure
• Automation of operational and deployment processes using PowerShell and Ansible
• Management and design of Group Policies
• Patch and update management including WSUS
• Participation in infrastructure projects
• 2nd and 3rd level support

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Windows Server (Design, Betrieb, Troubleshooting)

• PowerShell (Scripting and Automation)
• Ansible (high level of knowledge or clear willingness to build this up in the short term)

Good to intermediate knowledge of :

• VMware (vSphere)
• Group Policies
• Windows Update / WSUS
• Python
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Git
• SAFe

Basic knowledge of :

• Linux

Languages :

• German language skills B2
