Job description

The Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions-such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations-that deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role requires strong technical expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker), a deep understanding of data modeling and analytics, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling visual narratives for decision-makers. In addition, the Business Analyst will apply foundational data engineering skills, including SQL development, ETL processes, and data integration across multiple systems, to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable data pipelines that enable accurate and timely business insights., Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using modern analytics tools Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into technical requirements Develop and maintain data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration across multiple sources Build and maintain basic ETL pipelines for reporting and analysis Ensure data governance, quality, and documentation standards are followed Support ad hoc analyses and generate insights that drive business performance

Requirements

Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases Experience with basic data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, APIs Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Google BigQuery) is an advantage Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills Proven track record of building end-to-end BI solutions-from data preparation to dashboard deployment with proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related fields Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or Data Factory is a plus Exploratory Data Analysis and Data Engineering skills (Databricks, Python) are a plus.
