Job description
As a Senior / Lead Java Engineer, you will join a strategic project in Île-de-France (IDF) involving a highly distributed Java application with strong interactions across production and infrastructure environments.
Your main responsibilities will include: Reinforcing and enhancing a distributed Java-based application Designing and developing new business features Contributing to technical migrations (from Java 8 to newer versions) Managing technical obsolescence and driving continuous improvements Improving system resilience, stability, and overall performance Actively supporting the production lifecycle, including release support and troubleshooting Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) Handling on-premise deployments on RHEL environments Contributing to monitoring and observability practices (ELK dashboards, performance indicators) Collaborating closely with infrastructure and security teams (network constraints, SSL certificates, etc.), An international community bringing together 110+ different nationalities An environment where trust has a central place: 70% of our key leaders started their careers at the first level of responsibilities A robust training system with our internal Academy and 250+ available modules A vibrant workplace that frequently gathers for internal events (afterworks, team buildings, etc.) At Mantu, sustainability is part of everything we do. Requirements
Do you have experience in Security?, Strong experience in Java development (distributed systems) Solid experience with system integration protocols (e.g., FIX or similar messaging protocols) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) Skills in a capital markets environment Knowledge of FX pre-trade & FIX protocol. Experience with on-premise deployments on RHEL Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (ELK stack) Strong understanding of production lifecycle, release management, and troubleshooting Experience improving system resilience, stability, and performance Experience collaborating with infrastructure and security teams Strong communication skills in English Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Comfortable working close to production environments Experience in the banking sector is considered a strong asset.
