Kigtek Solutions - Senior Software Controls Engineer

• Lead the design, development, testing and commissioning of PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems.
• Produce clear technical documentation including FDS, architecture diagrams and test plans.
• Manage software delivery across the full lifecycle (requirements FAT/SAT commissioning handover).
• Troubleshoot and optimise control systems in live process environments.
• Collaborate across engineering teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Engage directly with clients, presenting technical solutions and supporting project delivery.

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Programmable logic controllers?, * Engineering qualification (Degree/HND/HNC) in Controls, Electrical, Automation or Software.

• Strong experience developing industrial control software across PLC/SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Solid understanding of programming structures, testing and version control.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA).
• Proven FAT/SAT and commissioning experience.
• Confident communicator with full UK driving licence.

Desirable: Experience with safety standards (IEC 61508/61511), IIoT/cloud integrations, cyber security, vendor toolsets (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA) or projects in regulated sectors.
