Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we're a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timeliness clothing made from responsibility sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.

As we scale in the UK, North America and Europe (primarily through third-party partnerships), we're investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It's an exciting time to join us!

As a Dynamics Developer, you'll lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Microsoft Dynamics solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Bringing your experience and knowledge of Dynamics platforms, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and scalability across the Seasalt's technology landscape.

In this role, you will support and mentor other developers, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices in software development, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, accessibility, and security. You will also take responsibility for Dynamics and Azure Integration Services development, addressing system challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and optimising overall application performance.

Please note this is a full-time, permanent role which is based remotely within the UK with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.

Participating in the design and architecture of new features and applications.

Identifying and resolving complex technical issues affecting application performance and security.

Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and internal teams, documenting resolutions and contributing to the knowledge base.

Implementing security best practices, performing routine security assessments using relevant tools, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Maximising application performance by identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Implementing performance optimisation techniques to ensure fast load times and efficient resource usage.

Conducting regular performance testing and analysing results to drive continuous improvement.

Providing feedback on the software development process and suggesting improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

Conducting code reviews to maintain high coding standards and identifying areas for enhancement.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers and business analysts, to align technical solutions with business needs.
