• Develop and implement sealing and polymer solutions from concept to production.
• Advise clients on technical applications, traveling 40-60% within Switzerland.
• Manage complex projects while collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes., * You develop, calculate and realize technical solutions in the area of Sealing & Polymer + Plastics (seals, molded rubber parts, plastic products) - from the initial idea or prototype to series maturity, including material selection and CAD design
• You advise customers as well as internal departments on demanding technical applications and issues - if necessary also directly on site
• You actively initiate and acquire new projects with existing customers as well as product launches and are therefore on the road about 40-60% within Switzerland
• You purposefully build and expand a network with relevant decision-makers, identify potentials and develop concrete project approaches from them
• You lead and coordinate complex customer projects and ensure close coordination with production, suppliers, partner plants and customers (stakeholder management)
• You work closely with the international ERIKS Group - especially with the departments of technology, material development, quality management and product management - to ensure successful project implementation
• You conduct feasibility studies, create technical documentation and ensure the sustainable transfer of projects into series production
• You take up regulatory requirements in highly regulated industries, understand them in detail and consistently integrate them into your project work

• Technical education with further training in engineering or materials science required.
• Strong CAD skills, particularly in SolidWorks, are essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are needed., * Technical basic training with further education to technician HF or bachelor (e.g. mechanical engineering, plastics/materials technology or similar)
• Experience with elastomers and/or plastics, industry knowledge in chemicals/pharma/food/semicon is an advantage
• Practical experience in customer projects: successfully implemented technical solutions from prototype phase to series maturity
• Very good CAD skills (SolidWorks) as well as experience with PDM and ISO-GPS (tolerances/drawing standards)
• Customer-oriented, proactive working style with a clear focus on solution- and implementation-oriented action
• Convincing communication and very good stakeholder management; engaging personality and very good listening skills
• Sales/business administration affinity or corresponding further education is an advantage (interface technology/commercial)
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills, willingness to travel within Switzerland
