Seven Resourcing are recruiting an ERP Tester to join a leading IT programme in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement testing, and software quality assurance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering testing across assigned areas of the ERP programme, ensuring that all business requirements are accurately reflected and any system defects are identified and resolved., * Collaborate with functional teams and the System Implementation (SI) team on the overall ERP testing strategy
- Develop detailed test scripts for HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Execute tests in accordance with test scripts and document outcomes accurately
- Identify, log, and track system defects through resolution
- Support the management and allocation of resources for each phase of testing
- Ensure testing covers critical business processes, integration points, and compliance requirements
- Liaise with IT and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodology and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an ERP Tester or similar QA role in IT projects
- Experience testing HR, Payroll, Finance, or Procurement modules within ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test planning, and execution
- Experience writing and executing test scripts
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP-related testing tools, * ERP Tester or similar: 2 years (required)
