Job description

As a Principal Cloud Engineer you'll be:

  • Responsible for the technology choices and technical architecture across our Azure tenant and digital cloud assets.
  • Leading the transition of core networking, identity, and complex workloads (IaaS/PaaS) to the cloud, and ensuring our data team has a rock-solid, secure foundation for their Microsoft Fabric rollout
  • Designing and implementing our Azure Landing Zone, ensuring that our 500-site network is integrated into a system that is stable, scalable, and easy for the team to manage.
  • You will lead "lean cloud" initiatives-optimizing resources and ensuring our cloud spend is transparent and efficient.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 7+ years in cloud computing as senior engineering role (AZ-305 or equivalent desirable)

  • 5+ years in technical/systems architecture cloud / on-prem platforms
  • 5+ years experience with core Cybersecurity concepts & best practice (AZ-500 or equivalent desirable)
  • Experience with Microsoft data product e.g. Fabric, Data Factory, DataBricks, Cosmos, SQL, Purview
  • Experience in AI tools e.g. AI Foundry, MVC, mainstream LLMs
