Job description
The GIS Tester joins the I-ICT department to support functional and regression testing of
GIS applications used across Infrabel. The role focuses on test planning, execution,
automation monitoring, and quality assurance within an Agile environment. The
consultant ensures reliability and stability of GIS solutions integrated into enterprise
systems, acting as a key quality gate for application releases in a complex railway
infrastructure context.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Testing & Quality Assurance

Write detailed test plans and test scenarios

Execute functional and non-regression tests

Produce structured test reports
-
Monitor automated testing tools
-
Ensure quality and stability of GIS applications
Project & Agile Collaboration

Work within an Agile methodology
-
Coordinate with development and functional teams

Contribute to issue tracking and follow-up using JIRA + Xray
Technical Validation

Validate integrations involving APIs and databases
-
Analyze SQL queries and data-related issues

Ensure proper system behavior within GIS environments
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Minimum 10 years of experience in testing methodologies (test plans, scenarios,
reporting)

Minimum 10 years of experience with automated testing tools

Minimum 10 years of experience with JIRA + Xray

Minimum 10 years of experience in Agile project environments

Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS domain

Minimum 5 years knowledge of APIs, databases, and SQL queries
Language: French Or Dutch C1, Other language B1, English B2
